I thought I would share a picture of the inside of my house.
I wish! I love this time period although I don't think I would have enjoyed wearing a corset. lol! The picture above is of one of their displays in Clabber Girl Museum. I met Jan and Mary at the museum for lunch in Terre Haute. It was nice to visit with other stitchers and share what every one is stitching on. Clabber Girl Restaurant serves delicious meals and make all their own bread from their products. Their desserts are excellent too.
Clabber Girls was founded by the Hulman's. The very same ones that founded the Indpls 500. The picture below is the outside of the museum. They have some very interesting displays, so if you are every in downtown Terre Haute stop and eat lunch.
They have a neat gift shop where you can buy their wares. I bought some coffee for my dad, a glass measuring jar, and Clabber Girl measuring spoons and some postcards. The old coffee grinder I bought at a yard sale last weekend.

Congratulations on your Stocking progress. I think you might be the only one of our group still making progress, although I intend to do some serious stitching tonight. How about that?

Great progress on the stocking! Your museum visit with Jan and Mary looks like it was great fun.
Lovely picture of "your house." LOL--imagining have to polish all that wood--in a corset. Nah-I guess there would be staff for that. And a corset? I don't even like regular street clothes or shoes! The stocking is looking great!
What a staircase! Can't wait to see more of your stocking.
