I made a little progress on my stocking. Hope to get a lot more stitched on it this weekend.

I thought I would share a picture of the inside of my house.

I wish! I love this time period although I don't think I would have enjoyed wearing a corset. lol! The picture above is of one of their displays in
Clabber Girl Museum. I met
Jan and
Mary at the museum for lunch in Terre Haute. It was nice to visit with other stitchers and share what every one is stitching on. Clabber Girl Restaurant serves delicious meals and make all their own bread from their products. Their desserts are excellent too.
Clabber Girls was founded by the Hulman's. The very same ones that founded the Indpls 500. The picture below is the outside of the museum. They have some very interesting displays, so if you are every in downtown Terre Haute stop and eat lunch.

They have a neat gift shop where you can buy their wares. I bought some coffee for my dad, a glass measuring jar, and Clabber Girl measuring spoons and some postcards. The old coffee grinder I bought at a yard sale last weekend.

Some of you ask how close the eagles' nest to my house, it is about a 15 minutes away. We use to own the farm the nest is on. Of course, when we owned that farm there were not any eagles in this area. Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments. Happy Stitching!
