Have you ever heard a phrase and you can't get it out of your head? That is what has happened to me. I watched "21" Friday night and have been repeating Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner over and over again, like a song. I really enjoyed the movie but geez! I also watched "Changeling" and "Body of Lies". "Changeling" is not an uplifting movie. So be warned.
I am also posting two WIP's although some might consider them UFO's. I started working on the Loose Feather BBD and was making great progress, then a I had an unexpected turn. Without going into details - I was offered a temporary second job to straighten out an accounting nightmare. So I am working two jobs and going to night school. I am not busy at all. I am so close to being finished with the BBD. The accounting job just needs to be posted.
The ATS, I can't remember why I put it away. I was pass the cloud heading for the second page so I don't know what happened. Anyway, I pulled it out over the weekend and started working on it again. So here are the pictures.

Wonderful, wonderful stitching, Tanya. I am so inspired to stitch ATS after seeing how beautiful it looks! And thanks for the warning on "Changling." I'm all for uplifting. :~)

OH gorgeous!!! This is real trouble for me -- why did you have to remind me of ATS? lol! I hope the job situation allows you more stitching time!
Wow Tanya, they're both wonderful! Good for you with the two jobs--hopefully once the second one is done, you'll have a teensy tiny bit more time for stitching. Both of your projects look great.

Love the ATS. Didn't make it through mine--put it away permanently maybe, although seeing pictures like yours makes me think of getting it out again... As for the winner, winner, chicken dinner--isn't it weird the way our brains like to play around with something that we get heartily sick of, and STILL they play around with it. Songs too.
I'm glad to see that you've started a blog! I love ATS. It was my favorite thing to stitch and yours is looking wonderful. It's good to see you've pulled it back out.
I used to work with a gal that would say "one winner, chicken dinner" over and over (we work in a bingo hall, on the accounting end of things) every night, and I never knew where she got that. Now I do...good to know! LOL!
Your WIPS are gorgeous! I'm only about 7 years into my ATS, it's half done. Looking to finish it up finally this year. Ha!
BEAUTIFUL, Tanya! I'm so proud of your progress on ATS, it looks beautiful and that BBD you're doing is one of my favorites. If I walk around all night saying "winner, winner, chicken dinner" I'm coming for you! :~)
Hello, wonderful samplers, Tanya. I'm not feeling like the brightest crayon in the box this morning...it took me awhile to realize what ATS stood for, duh!
